Accommodation

AgForce is pleased to offer attendees a special accommodation rate at Rydges Fortitude Valley Brisbane. Rydges Fortitude Valley is located across the road from the Royal International Convention Centre where the Conference will be held.

Registration terms and conditions

Disclaimer

The Conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the Conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, natural disasters, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the Conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.

Photographic consent

By registering, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the Qld Agricultural Industry Conference, their image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”), which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the organisers of the Conference . If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the organisers in advance by contacting barnardd@agforceqld.org.au.

Registration cancellation policy

  • Cancellation on, or before, 20 July 2024: Delegates will receive a full refund less $100 service fee.

  • Cancellations between 20 July and 1 September 2024: Delegates will receive a 50% refund on their registration.

  • Cancellations after 1 September 2024 will not be refunded but can be transferred to another delegate.

Exceptions to this policy are the discretion of the Conference Organising Committee.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of the cancellation request, provided it meets the terms above. Refunds will not be given for non-attendance at the Conference.
